My recipe comes straight from grandma, and I've been using it for about ten years. It's really easy!&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;In the mixing bowl:&lt;BR/&gt;1c Flour&lt;BR/&gt;In a cup with room for 1c+ of liquid (I love a pyrex 1c measuring cup for this):&lt;BR/&gt;1/2c Canola oil (or other vegetable oil)&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Add to oil:&lt;BR/&gt;5 Tbsp &lt;B&gt;*cold*&lt;/B&gt; water&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Pour liquid in with the flour &lt;B&gt;*as soon as you've added the water;*&lt;/B&gt; stir with a fork.
